Well it has certainly been an exciting month, but a fast & furious one...

As our final post for May, we're going to leave you with one of my favorites -- An engagement session we shot for Lindsay and Patrick who are quite the dapper couple. Isn't she cute as a button? Lindsay loves the retro film noir look of Greta Garbo so we took some amazing shots in Dolores Park and the San Francisco Ferry Building capturing the Muni streetcars rolling by. We can't wait for their wedding on June 6th!

San Francisco Engagement Session | Tiffany & Clifford

Tiffany and Clifford are another adorable couple who's engagement we shot a few weeks ago in San Francisco. They share such a natural rhythm together. Tiffany was great at bringing out Clifford's smile. We're looking forward to their wedding on August 29th!

Napa Valley Center for Spiritual Living Wedding | Amanda & Donovan

It was a party all day long at Amanda & Donovan's wedding, AND another Blueberry first... An incident I like to refer to as the wedding police. Yes, handcuffs were involved. No, it's not what you're thinking, but way cooler. Mr. Policeman came out to investigate the couple that was illegally trespassing on the train tracks and when he discovered it was just us taking wedding pictures, he actually let Donovan handcuff Amanda. Sweet.

Amanda & Donovan are some of the coolest folks I've ever worked with. He's an amazing tattoo artist and Amanda's his muse. You might remember their amazing Mission Street engagement shoot we posted about last month... Well this one was twice as nice.

We spent the day together in Napa at the Center for Spiritual Living. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception, and uniquely Amanda & Donovan. Amanda literally tattooed her love on Donovan in front of us all (another Blueberry first) and there was breakdancing and sparklers... And as if it were tattooed on my own arm, it was a day I will never forget!

Presidio Interfaith Chapel Wedding | Ghiradelli Square San Francisco| Alison & Tony

Alison has officially turned me into a pink girl. I suddenly have a new favorite color. I couldn't resist choosing fuchsia when I got my toes done the other day. I realize it was all Alison's fault and those gorgeous shoes.

So let's talk a little bit about Alison & Tony... What a stylish Bay Area couple they are. We had a blast shooting their wedding weekend. It was back to back events for us and by the time Sunday evening rolled around, we felt like part of the family.

Their classy wedding was held at Presidio Interfaith Chapel in San Francisco, followed by the reception in Ghiradelli Square, followed by a classic Chinese Banquet & tea ceremony in Emeryville the following day. Alison really had this simple elegance about her and Tony is that awesome guy you just want to hang out with. You could feel how much they compliment each other and have a lot of fun together, which of course makes taking pictures a lot of fun!

San Francisco Engagement Session | Brianna & Skylar

It's engagement Tuesday! We had to add one more great preview to complete the day...

Meet Brianna & Skylar. They are another one of our couples who's engagement session we shot in April for their upcoming nuptials. It's going to be a real 4th of July celebration with fireworks, horses, and the whole shebang! Boy are we really looking forward to this one.

The adorable couple lives in San Diego, so this was a destination session for them. We wanted to make sure to hit all the best places in just a few hours, and we definitely did that with a grand tour of the city. I also want to add that Skylar hates having his picture taken, and we think the man is a fool. What a natural!

San Francisco Engagement Session | Bobby & Danielle

We'll be shooting Danielle & Bobby's wedding at the end of this month, so we wanted to share their amazing engagement session we did for them back in April.

Danielle loves Bobby, and Bobby LOVES his Danielle... They were such a beautiful couple to work with. Can't you feel the love? We trotted all over San Francisco hitting some of our favorite haunts in some of our favorite neighborhoods. I have to say I love the cable cars the best. We're really looking forward to the wedding in a couple of weeks!
