Moraga Newborn Photography Session | Baby Madison

I am so excited to share baby Madison's session with you! This little ball of sweetness was born on May 5th and couldn't be any cuter if she tried! Capturing moments from the first few days of a new family is such a sentimental part of my job. There is an excited nervousness in the air and smiles on everyone's face. My favorite moments from newborn sessions are often unintentional, candid moments, when mom or dad are just holding and soothing their little one in between the posed photos. Congratulations Christine and Tom!

Berkeley Newborn Lifestyle Photography Session | Baby James

I first met Kate and Walker at their maternity session in Tilden Park and soon after had the pleasure of meeting their baby, James, and do a lifestyle portrait session with the new family. Lifestyle sessions are some of my favorite things to photograph because they are intimate and special to my clients. I loved how beautiful the nursery was and it was such a fun change from my usual, outdoor sessions. We were also able to incorporate a quilt, which was originally Walker's baby blanket. I have to give a special thanks to Grandma for being my super assistant of the day!

Congratulations Kate and Walker!

Mountain View Newborn Photography Session | Baby Kennedy

You may remember me mentioning how much I love photographing families as they grow and how special it is to me to be part of life changing events. Well, little baby Kennedy is no exception! I photographed Janelle and Andy's engagement session and wedding and am lucky enough to witness part of their baby's first days.

During their engagement session, Andy played guitar for Janelle and so we decided to recreate the scene with their newest addition. How cute is this family? Having a hockey player for a dad, we had to take some photos of little Kennedy on his hockey jersey. I love the milestone pucks they made, too. What a fun way to remember just how tiny she is!

Congratulations, Janelle and Andy!
