Lisa's "Trash the Dress" session!!

Lisa decided to trash her Maggie Sottero, which cost more than $1500!
Whew, I think Micah and I get more nervous about the whole process of trashing a beautiful dress than my brides do. I’m usually in “protect the dress” mode that it’s a bit of a shot to turn it off. Know what I mean?
Well, we quickly got over that! We started our Trash the Dress photo shoot session by just walking around in San Francisco’s more industrial locations, and taking some fun portraits.
The last 30 minutes of the photo shoot were well spent trashing her dress! We had Lisa jump into the SFMoma's water fountain. As I’m always in “OH NO the dress” mode on wedding days it was SO strange for me to just say… let’s get in the water! It was absolutely the BEST part of the day… splashing around in the water! It was AWESOME!!

Lisa is so incredibly beautiful!! She is absolutely STUNNING!!!!!

Isabel | Bridal Portrait Session |

Here are some pictures of a late night San Francisco bridal portrait shoot. Prior to the photo shoot I warned Isabel that the wind would be really strong because we would be next to the water. Isabel said she was willing to tough it out for great pictures, and she did! The night of the photo shoot Micah and I found ourselves shooting in probably the windiest and coldest conditions we've ever shot in, but it was well worth it. Even with hair being blown all over the place by the chilling wind, our bride did not complain. What a trooper!
We will always remember the blast we had shooting at SF's Pier 7

All of us had a blast shooting at SF's Pier 7.

Heather's "Trash the Dress" Session

I cannot even begin to tell you how much fun we had. Last Sunday I was thrilled to photograph Heather, one of our Trash the Dress contest winners. We visited a few locations in San Francisco. We were lucky enough to have a gorgeous sunny day. Heather was amazingly game for all kinds of odd poses, including laying in a bit of mud, traversing a fallen tree. Last but not least, Heather finished the day by jumping into the freezing cold water at China Beach.
