We absolutely adore photographing weddings at new venues especially when the venue is an amazing, hidden gem! Carol and Larry were married at Elliston Vineyards in Sunol, CA, which houses an incredible brick mansion, decorated in an early 20th century fashion, with shelves of old books, vintage wallpaper and unique furniture. Their ceremony was held on the lawn outside the mansion, as a string trio serenaded the guests. It could not have been a more romantic setting. We cannot wait to go back!
I really cannot get over how much I loved how Carol's all lace dress and gorgeous bow topped Valentino's looked in the mansion setting, accented with such a modern and fun bouquet, created by the oh-so talented Canna at Mints Design. The bouquet & boutineers she created had beautiful lace wrapped around them adorned with super cute buttons which made them even more creative and special!
The day was full of tears for the couple, from the emotional tea ceremony to the tears of laughter on the dance floor. We have to mention how sweet all of the speeches were, especially the one given by Larry's mom, which had everyone laughing! She also knows a thing or two about dancing! The lighting during the reception was tinted with blues and purples which gave their dancing photos so much life! Their first dance was a traditional waltz which they had practiced and practiced and it sure paid off!
I also have to mention their fabulous dessert table by La Vie Douce Design which was incredibly creative and fitting to their theme. Their cake was one of the most original that I had ever seen and I loved it! So fun!
Congratulations Carol and Larry!
