Brazilian Room Wedding in Berkeley, CA | Emi and Stephen

You may remember Emi and Stephen’s adorable engagement session we photographed up in the Tilden Park Botanical Garden last June. I am so excited to share their beautiful wedding day back up in Tilden Park, this time at the Brazilian Room!

Emi and her bridesmaids decided to get ready at the Berkeley City Club, which is a photo destination in itself! We had a great time wandering around the old building and taking photos before arriving at the ceremony. Julia Morgan's creations never cease to amaze!

The two exchanged their vows amongst the redwoods, surrounded by a fantastic group of people. Their reception was held inside, the dinner tables covered in homegrown succulents of all colors as well as some incredible vintage finds! The toasting warmed our hearts and wet the eyes of most. The DJ had everyone on their feet and we laughed hysterically as everyone showed off their best moves! The night ended with donuts, cake, and the couple’s favorite, Flying Goat Coffee.

Congratulations Emi and Stephen! We wish we could photograph the day again!

Brazilian Room Wedding Photography - Berkeley, CA | Justin & Yukiko

Justin and Yukiko were married at the Brazilian Room in Tilden Park, surrounded by giant redwood trees and rolling hills. We had so much fun running around taking photos at the botanical garden with the couple and their bridal party before their wedding that we didn't want to stop!

Both of their families are so incredibly kind and really made us feel like part of the big day. The excitement was palpable as they waited for Yukiko to come down the aisle!

The reception was a blast and some of the dance moves were out of this world (look at how adorable grandma's expression is)! We hadn't laughed that hard in a long time!
